Hardware Design Engineer

This is undoubtedly a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in their GPU Multimedia team. Nicely located in one of the world's friendliest, most beautiful countries!

My client are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join the GPU team. As a member of the Graphics team, the successful applicant will help integrate, implement and develop state of the art GPU cores. As a Hardware Design Engineer you must have a basic understanding of RTL design and ASIC design flow from RTL to GDS2 such as synthesis, static timing analysis, formal verification, and physical design. Knowledge of RTL synthesis and STA timing from RTL to PD to SOC is also desirable.

Key Requirements:

  • Basic level knowledge of synthesis, static timing, timing closure, constraints and formal verification
  • Hands on experience with front-end/back-end CAD flows and EDA tools such as Synopsys.
  • Experience with programming languages C, C++ or Python is a plus.
  • Script writing experience in UNIX shell, Perl and/or TCL
  • Experience with physical design flows including floor planning, power planning, placement, timing/power optimization, clock tree synthesis and route.
