IFS ERP Analyst

Title: IFS ERP Analyst/Programmer
Location: Bristol
Salary: flexible - depending on level of experience

Global technology company is looking to hire an IFS Support Analyst/Programmer to join their IT team.

The successful candidate will support and develop a variety of solutions to meet the business requirements of the company, with particular focus on the company's IFS ERP system.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Maintain and support all areas involving the IFS ERP system.
-Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd level IFS support; particularly Financials, Distribution, Inventory, Service Management, MRP, Document Management, QA, Project and Quick Reports
-Provide IFS Administration; maintain users and security
-Prioritising and progressing any IFS related issues (including bugs), tracking them through to resolution, keeping the end user up to date
-Deploy IFS Patch releases onto test and production systems
-Coordinate and participate in systems tests
-Work with the IT Project Manager to deploy new IFS modules, roll out of large projects and define system modifications where no core IFS solution can be found
-Consult with clients with regard to specific projects, ascertains/evaluates user requirements (including training) and provide recommendations.
-Design, constructs and tests reports, and systems integrating with the IFS ERP system
-Liaise with external providers and contractors

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
-Able to multitask well, use own initiative and have a strong problem solving background.
-Functional knowledge of IFS ERP (Apps 8 preferred)
-Expertise in Oracle (12c) SQL or PL/SQL & use of IFS API's
-Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Streamserve, Qlikview, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, Oracle, SQL Server and XML would be advantageous - although training can be given.
-Relevant university degree, professional qualification or recent IFS experience
