Intermediate/Senior Construction Planner

Intermediate/Senior Construction Planner

Central London (Tottenham Court Road)

£50 000 - 65,000 per annum

We currently have a requirement for an Intermediate/Senior Construction Planner to join a growing medium-sized main contractor in Central London (Tottenham Court Road). This is a great opportunity to help build the planning division of a fast-growing business without layers upon layers of management and work directly alongside key Directors within the business.

Our client is a rapidly growing main contractor, beginning to make a name for themselves in London. With a turnover now beyond the £100m mark, they have enjoyed a sustained period of success that shows no signs of slowing down. Our client works on new build, refurbishment and fit out schemes across the commercial, residential, public and leisure sectors, typically worth up to £40m each and are now starting to beat larger, more well-established construction contractors to land new projects. Due to this rapid expansion, our client is looking for either an Intermediate Planner or Senior Planner to work closely with the Planning Manager on both live and tender schemes.

The role will probably have a 75/25 site/tender bias and the successful candidate will take ownership of the planning function on a wide variety of construction schemes at any one time; duties will include creating detailed programmes, monitoring/updating progress, progress reporting, stakeholder management and occasionally delay/extension of time work. Ideally, our client is seeking the following:

- Significant construction planning experience, ideally within London.

- A relevant construction/engineering degree.

- Site background would be advantageous.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficient with Asta Powerproject software.

In return, our client will offer a basic salary of between £50 000 - £65 000 per annum plus a benefits package comprising car/allowance, pension and flexi benefits. Apply now for immediate consideration or contact Peter Greenlaw on 0118 907 3077 for more details.
