iOS Build Engineer

iOS Build Engineer
Location: Cork, Ireland
Salary: € flexible - depending upon level of experience

Fantastic opportunity! This global tech company is looking to hire Build Engineers for its growing team in Ireland.

You will be at the centre of the software development process in delivering the best operating system and applications to customers. The role requires coordination and collaboration with a variety of teams, including software, hardware, QA, Operations, and engineering program managers to build and release software.

Key essential skills/experience:
- OS X, iOS, or UNIX development experience
- Build / Release experience
- Knowledge of Perl and/or shell scripting.
- UNIX administration and strong software debugging skills.
- Knowledge of operating system, network, and compiler concepts.
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science

Preferred Experience
- Programming in Objective-C and/or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as subversion or git.
- Compiling software from source such as Linux distributions or other open-source software.
- Familiarity with installation technology such as OS X Installer or MSI.
- Experience with Windows administration and deployment.
- Authoring automation tools.
