Linux Kernel Engineer

Cambridge Base. Linux Kernel Engineers. Expanding World Leader. This leading developer of cloud based virtualisation software urgently seeks to strengthen their kernel development team. They seek Linux Kernel Engineers to develop the next incarnation of their leading open source software. The Linux Kernel Engineer will be working in kernel space responsible for developing new features and for enhancing existing products. The Linux Kernel Engineer will be working as part of a highly motivated, extremely technical team committed to producing the highest quality products.


After achieving your degree in Computer Science (or equiv.) you will have a demonstrable track record in developing Linux kernel software. You should have very strong C programming skills and you should be happy developing within kernel space. Any exposure to virtualisation, storage, cloud or security will be a real benefit as will experience of working with the open source community.
