Mixed Signal Verification Engineer

This is an opportunity for a Senior Mixed Signal Verification Engineer to join a very well established company based in the Netherlands working on a variety of exciting and breakthrough innovative IC projects.


In this role you will actively participate in the definition and implementation of verification solutions and will be responsible to verify SoCs, IPs and modules for wireless connectivity systems and products.


Responsibilities include:



  • Verify the functionality and performance of IP blocks and SoCs for wireless connectivity components and systems

  • Analyse and provide feedback relating to verification aspects of new projects and IP's

  • Interact with the design and validation teams to define the verification procedure and requirements

  • Implement behavioural models and verification environments

  • Run simulations, analyse results and prepare reports

  • Investigate for new methods and techniques for functional verification


The successful Senior Mixed Signal Verification Engineer will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in either an AMS Verification or Mixed Signal Verification role or from an Analog or RF IC Design position. A good knowledge of Analog and/or RF circuits as well as Digital and embedded systems is required as well as an excellent understanding of functional verification principles, concepts, and challenges, a passion for verification and proven experience with simulating and debugging complex software systems.


Skills required in some or all of the following:



  • Knowledge of verification platforms like Mentor Questa and Cadence NCSim

  • Good experience with scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, etc.

  • Ability to work with Simulink and MATLAB

  • Experience in C, System Verilog and UVM


Excellent communication skills in English are required as well as being a quick learner who is eager to learn and develop. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within an inspiring and highly experienced multi-disciplinary design team and participate in exciting breakthrough innovative IC projects.
