Principal Analog IC Designer - High Speed
Salary 85K - 95K Euro depending on experience
A market leading Semiconductor company in the field of data communication is looking for an expert Principal Analog IC Designer for their new team in Munich to research new technology and develop high speed optical ICs for Optical Access Network.
In this role you will be joining a small team of engineers to contribute to research and innovative design of Analog high speed ICs (TIA, LA, LDD, clock data recovery) in CMOS and BiCMOS technology in a Cadence environment working up to 10Gig. You will design ICs for PON systems in close cooperation with research and industry partners.
You will lead related prove of concept prototype project and work towards turning prototypes into products. Also, you will also participate academic conference, publish and present latest research achievements in conferences or journals.
As the successful Engineer you are industry degree qualified with a good number of years (Masters + 8 years or PhD plus 5 years) from within research or commercial positions related to high speed optical Analog IC Design and proven success in the design of high speed TIA, or LA, or LDD, or clock data recovery.
In addition you should have:
Profound knowledge in chip manufacturing, testing design, and integration technology.
Good knowledge of DSP technology is beneficial and familiarity with PON protocols is preferred.
Fluency in English is essential.
