This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join an established semiconductor team designing and verifying digital front end imaging sensors/ASICs.
My client is well known as an excellent employer; as one of the world's top-Tier Semiconductor giants. They are currently expanding across the UK, Europe, the US and the Far East.
In this role you'll enjoy working within a friendly, experienced, mid-sized team focusing on image sensor development for the automotive sector. In your new role as Principal Design Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the front end RTL design and verification phases, from analysis of requirements and design documentation through coding and verification, through to hand off to the back end synthesis and implementation teams.
Whilst previous experience working within the automotive and / or imaging domain would definitely be useful, it's not an essential. To excel in this job, you will have a proven track record of multiple successful IC development cycles, and with in-depth expertise designing and verifying digital ASIC blocks, and a good overall understanding of the complete chip development flow. You will be well versed with Verilog or SystemVerilog, and again, whilst Cadence is preferred, Synopsys users will still certainly be considered.
