Senior / Principal Digital IC Design Engineer - ASIC, Munich

A Munich-based opportunity for a Principal Digital IC Designer to join a Semiconductor company renowned for engineering excellence in the power management, automotive and industrial fields.

My client is a global Semiconductor company, headquartered in the US. For their design centre in Munich, they are now looking for a Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to be a key contributor to the development of state-of-the-art power converter ASICs.

The team's current focus is on digital power controller products, however as they embark on a new product roadmap, need an innovative, and highly experienced digital ASIC design expert to drive this new development forward. This team has very much a 'start-up' feel, yet works as part of a major multinational, interfacing regularly with other design centres around the world.

The successful candidate will be degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics or similar, with the following experience:

*Several years of experience in digital ASIC design, with sound skills in Verilog / VHDL languages for RTL design
*Good block / system level verification experience
*Experience designing digital blocks within a mixed-signal environment, and an understanding of analog functionalities is key
*A flexible, motivated work ethic, capable of moving things forward and defining new products
*Strong language skills in English (German would be a bonus)
