Principal RF/MMIC Design Engineer

70k-85k Euros depending on experience


A new role just opened for a Principal RF/MMIC Design Engineer to join a multi national Semiconductor company based in Southern Ireland.


In this role you will be involved in the design of market leading RFIC and Microwave components and subsystems. Working within an established RF IC Design team you will be take responsibility and ownership for the full design lifecycle and will simulate and design circuits based on device models, parameters, and design rules.


Industry degree qualified (or equivalent) the successful engineer will have experience in RF or MMIC Design / Microwave Silicon IC design in either; CMOS, SiGe, BiPolar or BiCMOS processes. Engineers with experience in Analog IC ideally Analog/RF IC Design may also be considered.


Experience in some of the following areas is desirable:


  • RF/Microwave Switch, Amplifier, Attenuator, Up/Down Converters, Phase Shifter, VCOs, Active filters, Design in frequencies from to 10Ghz-50Ghz
  • Bandgap reference voltage generation


Experience in Cadence design tools is essential as well as and understanding of RF/MW systems and specification trade-offs.


Excellent communication skills in English are required along with the ability to well in a multi national team.
