Urgently Seeking Principal Technical Support Engineer! Darmstadt Germany Base! Enterprise and Software Infrastructure! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Technical Support Engineer within this leading technical infrastructure supplier based in Darmstadt. You will be responsible for quickly providing solutions to client problems based around mainframe, enterprise and software infrastructure projects. The Principal Technical Support Engineer will also be involved in mentoring and supporting more junior Engineers as well as providing technical leadership.
Your background will include a successful track record in technical support gained within a mainframe, infrastructure or enterprise environment. You will be able to demonstrate the technical ability to advise on solutions to technical issues for clients. You need to be able to personally deal with escalations and have the technical gravitas to work closely with both client and internal development teams to quickly rectify any technical issues. You need to have conversational German language skills. Any exposure to Unix, Windows, DB2, SQLServer, Oracle, C, Java or COBOL would be a real benefit.
