Production Engineer

An opportunity has become available for a Production Engineer to join a global provider of technology solutions based in Hampshire.

As a Production Engineer, your responsibilities would include:

• Support production activities on supplier / sub-contractor sites or remotely.
• Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions.
• Report on production performance (process performance, yield, lead time, …)
• Maintain statistical and traceability records.
• Supervise and train sub-contractors.
• Ensure product and process quality meets the specifications required.
• Design new systems and processes to ensure the cost-effective integration of new products or for the improvement of existing ones into manufacturing operations.
• Ensure all product and system requirements are considered from initial conception to finished result.
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem-solving, and process improvement activities.
• Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training.

To be considered for the Production Engineer opportunity, you will need:

• Previous experience in Production/Manufacturing roles.
• Strong Electronics knowledge.
• Willingness to commute to Buckinghamshire once per week (paid travel expenses).
• Ability to analyze test results and make deductions to improve quality control.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Pro-active approach.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Experience working with MRP systems is desirable. 

This opportunity offers hybrid working options (max 2 days per week).
