Senior Project Manager - Semiconductors

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a Semiconductor company and a leader in the development of energy efficient communication applications.


In this high visibility position you will be responsible for Technical Project Management of multiple development projects from initial proposal phase through to production launch and you will be reporting to the VP Engineering.


Your responsibilities will include chairing of weekly development team meetings, resolving technical issues, driving critical path schedule tasks, supporting customer interaction, ISO / Dev. Process compliance as well as presentations to senior management.


As the successful candidate you are capable of managing priorities and schedules for multiple development teams across different site and European countries (consisting of Design Engineering, Product & Test Engineering, QA, Reliability, Operations, Purchasing, etc.) to assure new product datasheet compliance, cost targets, critical milestones, prototype sample on-time deliveries, etc. Some travel will be required.


Candidates with a Master's degree in ideally Electronics Engineering will be considered. Solid experience in Team Leadership, Knowledge of Project Management, Product Development Processes, and Technical Project Management in the Semiconductor industry are essential. You should have several years of experience in program management and 5+ years managing deliverables for engineering teams.


Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project S/W or similar (Scheduling Skills), Presentations Skills, Knowledge of Agile is a plus.
