Based in Oxford, our client is an IoT platform provider developing applications for the digital health sector currently listed as a Top 50 growth technology company in Europe. They are currently looking for a proven QA engineer to be a part of the development culture driven by rigorous testing and continuous delivery.

You will be responsible for creating automation test frameworks, assisting team members in generating test strategies, as well as striving to make sure that the products in question are as robust as possible. As a result the successful QA Engineer requires a broad set of skills to work within a cross-functional team working on a variety of technologies where you will be testing mobile apps, web interfaces and server backends, with the opportunity to move into a lead position.

Key requirements:

3+ years of automation testing experience.
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent through experience and professional qualifications).
Familiarity with testing of websites or client/server applications as well as Mobile devices; developing test plans for functional, integration, acceptance testing.
Understanding of all parts of the SDLC including requirements gathering, development and testing.
Demonstrated experience of Agile methodologies, in an Agile team.
Demonstrated experience in at least one programming language (Java / Python given preference).
Testing in cloud-based environments and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with scalable testing and monitoring tools, as well as testing with containers, is a significant plus.
Experience with BDD is a plus.
Certification in testing (ISEB/certified Agile tester) is a plus.
Good documentation skills and understanding of the defect tracking process.
Familiarity and understanding of test plan/specifications and test processes.
