RAN Researcher

A leading wireless technology company are looking to expand their new advanced communications team based in London to support advanced research and development in the 5G Communications network spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large well funded company within a small team that has the look and feel of a start-up.


The role is seeking and experienced Senior RAN Research engineer to support the research and development of 5G communications in the future of terminal devices and circuits. It requires proven experience in


Research and Lab prototyping

Designing and developing technologies and protocols for advanced terminal devices

Working with European Project Partners

Contribution to industry publications


Technologies of interest include: LTE, C-RAN, mesh networks, NFV, SDN, SON, Cloud Systems, Cognitive Networking, Services architectures- Experience in European and/or national collaborative projects (e.g. FP7, Horizon2020, etc) as well as contemporary future internet and 5G related topics


Any exposure to wireless technology areas such as Machine to Machine and Internet of Things ( M2M / IoT ) would also be nice to have.
