My client, a leading engineering services company, is seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to join their Munich team and look after clients in South Germany in relation to machinery software.

Requirements

* Demonstrable success in selling machinery software in the German market.
* Fluent German and English essential.
* Extensive client-facing experience with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
* Good understanding of complex software projects for automation and for the industrial sector.

Responsibilities:

* Working to sales targets and regularly exceeding them.
* Travelling regularly to client sites in order to maintain solid relationships.
* Managing client accounts across a number of product portfolios and able to lead these through the sales cycle.
* Producing sales forecasts and commercial models.
* Identifying new business and developing current client accounts.

Open to a machinery software sales professional who has good knowledge of the industrial vertical and is able to make complex software sales; understanding projects and the wider picture. You will be pro-active in identifying new business as well as developing existing accounts in Southern Germany.
