We are working on behalf of a successful multi national Semiconductor company who actively seeks an Analog IC Design Engineer to join an team of experienced engineers working on industry leading and state-of-the-art imaging solutions.
You will be joining the Pixel Development Team who bridge the gap between process development and circuit design and the position itself requires knowledge and experience in Analog IC Design with the focus being on pixel circuit design and its interface with the wider device.
This is a challenging role that will provide you with an opportunity to apply and gain knowledge in product requirements and system constraints within the Photonics roadmap. There will be unique challenges, such as merging design and simulation aspects with characterisation and to understand the effects of pixel design.
You will be tasked with the design, simulation and layout activities to help the team to investigate new pixels and you will be analysing electro-optical characterisation data to feed back into the design and simulation.
Industry degree qualified the successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have experience in Analog IC Design in CMOS and the relevant Cadence tools for schematic capture and layout. Knowledge in photonics devices and/or image sensors will be highly valuable but not essential. You will have knowledge of CMOS circuit specification, design, modelling and simulation. Experience in semiconductor devices, silicon products and device measurement as well as TCAD or equivalent process simulation tools would be ideal.
Excellent communication skills in English are required.
