Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - Power Management - Ireland
An opportunity exists for a talented Analog IC Design Engineer to join a leading company working in the area of power management for portable devices. A great opportunity to work in an area of high demand in the industry.
In this role you will work on Analog IC Design in CMOS technology for power management applications. You will work with engineers from the production and test departments to produce high quality solutions for the customers needs. You will be involved in building prototypes using advanced libraries, tools and methods and will be involved in design projects through to release to production. There is the opportunity for the right person to act as a design leader for complex design projects also.
Industry degree qualified, the successful Senior Analog IC Design engineer will have a minimum of 5 years Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design in CMOS and will have proven experience of taking designs from concept to mass production.
Experience is required in some or all of the following design circuitry; op-amps, bandgap references, voltage references, current references, comparators, amplifiers, ADCs, DACs, linear and switched mode regulators. Experience in weak inversion or sub threshold design would be highly beneficial. Familiarity with the Cadence design framework is required.
Strong communications skills and the ability to well in a team is essential.
