Senior Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer - Dublin - Ireland
A new opportunity has arisen to join an exciting start-up company based in Dublin who are currently looking for an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join their growing team.
In this role you will be responsible for the design, implementation and verification of Analog/Mixed Signal blocks and subsystems. You will be working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver the next generation products from concept to volume production.
*Design and verify Analog/Mixed signal blocks/subsystems, up to a frequency of 2GHz
*Working with IC Layout Design Engineers to optimise design and layout
*Design and product documentation/hosting design reviews
*Characterise prototypes and developing test specs
*Participate in silicon bring-up and characterisation testing
*Support silicon debug activities
Industry degree qualified the successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have established experience in Low Power Analog IC Design in CMOS Design 90nm or less, ideally with a track record of designs in production. Experience is required in some or all of the following; PLL's, Oscillators, Baseband Filters, Data Converters and Power Management Blocks. Knowledge of the complete IC Design flow is required including: Analog IC Architecture Design and Modelling; IP Evaluation and Selection, Analog/Digital partitioning in mixed-signal systems. Excellent tool knowledge using Cadence is required. Knowledge of high frequency design/RF IC Design up to and beyond 2GHz is ideal.
Strong communications skills are required with the ability to work on own initiative.
