We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong Python development experience to join a growing team within a company who are developing a product that will save the lives of thousands of people.


The role involves developing and maintaining software tools and platforms used to generate and manipulate data critical to our projects and products, alongside experienced control software developers, data scientists & algorithm developers.


The technology stack is python-based, and uses open source tools and libraries including Numpy, Qt, Celery, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL and ZeroMQ. Our test and documentation use pytest and sphinx respectively.


Skills required:


*2:1 or above in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field

*Experience with Python, ideally Python 3

*Experience with Git or other version control software

*Experience with Linux

*Knowledge of software engineering principles

*Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Vagrant and Docker would be beneficial

*You want to make a difference and take on real world problems
