This Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer vacancy is based in Central London with my client; a predominantly software focused company that collects sports personnel and team performance data on their own hardware, then creates valuable insights with this for use by professional sports teams. With a major client on board already and more in the pipeline, they are expanding their software team and require the skills of several Signal Processing from 1-3 years of experience. However if you've worked on some interesting personal projects e.g. developed software for your own quad-copter, then you could fulfil this Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer vacancy as a MSc/MEng graduate.
What can you expect? Primary responsibilities of the Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer will be in the design and development of signal processing algorithms in Python and working closely with field test engineers on-site, interacting with professional sports players. Eligible Signal Processing Algorithm Engineers will have a MSc or MEng such as Electronic Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science and experience in;
1. Python or MATLAB
2. Signal Processing concepts, filtering, Nyquist frequencies, time-frequency transformations etc.
If you're a Signal Processing Algorithm Engineer who also loves sports, in particular Rugby (!) then you would likely be a great match for this.
