Software Developer

IC Resources is looking for a software developer to contract for a wireless communications company. The client provide 'made to order' transmitters and do all of their test manually. With increasing demand, and the desire scale up and expand the test function, they are want to develop a pc-based automation test framework that is able to plug into their equipment across various sites and multiple users - including sub contractors. They are looking for an experienced contract software developer to come in, identify the specifications, breakdown the project into achievable chunks, and develop the test framework. Note this is a development role and you will not be required to do any testing therefore, we are looking for a strong software developer who has primarily developed in python and preferably has developed test automation before. An understanding of developing easy to use software that can be used across internal/ external stakeholders would be ideal.

The contract will initially be for 3 months, but is more than likely to extend. At the top end of the budget we are looking for someone at approximately £400/day, although there is some flexibility for the ideal candidate. They are also happy with flexible working.

If you have the right skills for the role, please apply with an attached CV or give Peter Greenlaw a call on 0118 907 7883.
