Software Engineer (Scripting)

Grad/Junior Python Scripter / Algorithm Developer. This is a new and exciting opportunity to join a successful company developing novel technology for the medical industry. This fast growing team is located in the Oxford area and require a Software Engineer to develop their software products, design and implement automation scripts and algorithms for the novel devices. This offers excellent opportunity to learn and develop professional skills as part of a diverse software group.


Candidates should have the following experience:



  • A Degree/PhD in a Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Mathematics or related fields

  • Experience with Python

  • Experience developing algorithms for instrumentation control, game development, computer vision applications or equivalent


Experience in any of the following is beneficial:



  • Version control software (ideally subversion or git)

  • Agile software development methodologies

  • Test driven development methodologies

  • Software system testing, including automated tests

  • Hardware drivers and communication protocols (e.g. USB)
