Software Security Engineer

A Software Security Engineer is urgently sought by this leading Cloud, Storage and Remote Access developer to be based at their R+D Centre in Cambridge. The Software Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing Security Development Lifecycle in new Cloud based products. The Software Security Engineer will also be responsible for driving SDL best practices across the development environment. As a Software Security Engineer you will be working as part of a small team, based across multiple worldwide locations, tasked with delivering effective cloud security.

You will have a great knowledge of some of the following areas from a security point of view - Systems, Web, Networks, Mobile, Cloud, Cryptography preferably gained in a multi-platform environment. You will be capable of writing exploits for identified vulnerabilities, have a solid understanding of common software vulnerabilities and root cause analysis. You will be proficient in one of the following software languages (C, C++, Python) and any exposure to Linux or Windows is a benefit.
