South London Area- Salary of £40k with Great Benefits

Are you looking for that role to challenge and grow your embedded skills?

We are currently looking for a Firmware Engineer to join a great company who supplies FM broadcasting equipment worldwide, from large based radio stations to community radio stations. Many of their products are recognised for both design & innovation.

Requirements:

 3-5 years' experience in software engineering

 BSc in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.

 Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.

 Solid programming experience in C and C++

 Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems

 Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review

 Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, network protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems

 Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components

 Strong documentation and writing skills
