Technical Sales Engineer – Connector Manufacturer – Sweden/Norw

A leading Connector Manufacture is currently seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join their Nordics.


The role itself is a mixture of both Technical and Commercial responsibilities so the right candidate must have strong experience working with Connectors and understand the Design and Development of interconnect solutions.


Requirements:


  • Strong technical knowledge of connectors and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to customers.
  • An understanding of the market and key customers / OEMs within the region
  • 5+ years of professional level engineering experience working directly with connectors
  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical engineering
  • Must speak fluent Swedish and ideally English, plus any additional European languages would be an advantage


Responsibilities:


  • Support customer's projects with product recommendations during design-in phase and with technical advice/problem solving throughout
  • Propose and agree business strategy for the territory to ensure continued growth
  • Provide internal project coordination for customer specifications programs
  • Develop integrated solutions for customers project, managing development and relationships both internally and externally
  • Employ technical knowledge in order to promote and sell products


As the Technical Sales Engineer you will be heavily involved with in depth conversations with both the internal teams and local customers, including design teams. You will also be required to attend exhibition in order to help promote products to both new and existing customers.


This is a key role within the organisation and offers career progression opportunities and allows the chance to excel in a market-leading and globally established multinational organisation. The role reports directly into the Northern Europe Regional Sales Manager for UK & Nordic.
