Technical Sales - IOT
My client is at the forefront of IOT and cloud computing! They have created an IOT platform that can apply to multiple applications and multiple industries both quickly and cost-effectively; therefore, giving full visibility, automation and analytics to any big IOT project.
They are seeking a Technical Sales professional to join them, ideally in Germany, and support customers with technical deep-dive support and pre-sales.
Home-based role with travel.
· Relevant technical degree, or equivalent
· Solid programme knowledge in JAVA, Node.JS and Restful API
· Good understanding of IOT architectures and services (e.g. Microsoft Azure)
· Strong commercial acumen and ability to travel; able to support customers in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity.
· Fluent German and English
· Support the sales team, and customers directly, with technical capabilities. This includes pre-sales, post-sales and proof-of-concept.
· Train customers in the IOT platform and how to connect devices/sensors.
· Work closely with internal sales teams to ensure the customer receives the best service.
· Travel regularly to HQ n Israel and clients in Germany and the UK; bearing in mind this is an EMEA-based role thus further travel may be required.
Open to a technical astute, commercially-minded professional whom can technically support customers and internal sales teams. You will be proficient in JAVA, Node.JS and Restful API as well as have a good understanding of IOT architectures.
