Technical Sales Manager - Power & Batteries - Netherlands
Technical Sales Manager required to join a leading electronics distributor in the Netherlands.
As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for business expansion in support of the customer sales strategy for supplier offerings. Developing and maintaining the business relationship by providing solutions for the company and its defined suppliers in a product line, to achieve the identified strategy and business financial objectives.
Suitable candidates will have an electronics/electrical qualification and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within a design and/or technical support role. You will be looking after the product line from one of their major suppliers and will be the technical expert in the region.

Technical Sales Manager required to join a leading electronics distributor in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities
- Identifies, defines, implements and supports hardware solutions through the engineering development process.
- Develops key engineering and marketing relationships within the company's supplier business units to drive collaboration and solution development at the engineering level.
- Identifies and creates opportunity demand for identified products, coordinating the supporting seminars, training and resource awareness that drives growth plan success for defined supplier(s).
- Supports Account Managers and Inside Sales in Commercial opportunities.
- Works independently on assigned design customers.
- Maintains and drives trending knowledge of products, competitors, technology and customers in the assigned supplier product market
- Identifies and maintains field supplier relationships to create demand for products and services.
- Applies technical/marketing/product expertise to position company as the distributor of choice to suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in electronics or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
- Experience (3+ years) in sales and design-in of electronic components.
- Excellent Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations
- Willingness to travel when required
- Strong knowledge of Power and Batteries products
