Technical Support Engineer, great opportunity, global client, market leader!
As the Technical Support Engineer ($U - Dollar Universe) you will be responsible for the troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for the client's customers.
The client is looking for someone with 5+ years' experience in using, managing, and/or supporting Dollar Universe/ORSYP; version 6.x a requirement, version 5.x an asset.
Knowledge of Dollar Universe with Web Services agent, other 3rd party integrations (ex: SAP, Oracle EBS, other ERPs and Databases)
-Practical knowledge of developer role in/use of Dollar Universe
-Ability to install and configure a full Dollar Universe/UVMS/UVC system and configure 3rd-party components (tomcat, Oracle DB, MSSQL, and ERP's)
-Knowledge of applications or technologies listed below at an administrator, support, developer level, and/or equivalent:
-Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows Server, Sun Solaris, Linux, HP-UX, AIX, z/OS platforms
-Web Servers: Tomcat -Networking and protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS or SSL
-Databases: Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server ERP: SAP and Oracle
You will be responsible for the troubleshooting and resolving technical problems for the client's customers.
The successful candidate should ideally have great product knowledge in the area of Dollar Universe. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a client who is a market leader in their space and will pay the right money to hire the right candidate!
