Test Automation Engineer

My client is a fabless semiconductor company based in Cambridge working on high performance/ low latency software solutions with successful products across the globe. They have plans of growing extensively this year with a focus on their software test engineering team and are open to test engineers across a range of seniority levels from five years of experience and above.


As a test automation engineer you will be learning about new product features and defining and designing test criteria and developing them into test classes that will modify the current test frameworks. You may also be required at times to create test frameworks from scratch.

The ideal candidate will have a background in test engineering and will have strengths with test automation and manual testing. You will need to have proficiency with Python scripting and have the ability to configure Linux and Windows systems. You will also have network protocol experience with the likes of TCP/IP, UDP or Ethernet and have sold bug reporting and triage skills.
