Unified Comms Engineer, global client, great opportunity! As the Unified Comms Engineer you will provide engineering support expertise to my client's core platform consisting of Skype for Business online, Exchange online, Office 365 and ShoreTel.
My client is doing a migration from ShoreTel to Office 365 and is looking for additional support for the migration. The migration is circa 6,500 users across 15 sites.
The key point to this role is to make sure the users can communicate effectively with emphasis on audio and telephony.
The client is looking for someone with excellent skills with Skype for Business and ideally ShoreTel (other PBX/Telephony experience ok) with experience of working on client sites where both Skype and legacy PBX has been deployed.
-Unified Comms (Skype for business)
-Office 365 (Enterprise Voice)
-PBX and legacy PBX
-Accountable for delivering the architects vision into production
-Setting up hunt groups
-Supporting a worldwide implementation
-Project work - migrating users, carrying out technical elements of project work
-Accountable for ensuring project work is transitioned to the BAU team
-Point of escalation for the service desk
-Participate in major UC incidents helping to return to operation ASAP
-Ensuring desk phones are operation with the correct firmware, looking at new firmware releases and new devices etc
