They design and manufacture high-performance RF, microwave and mmWave hardware for mission-critical systems, and they\u2019re scaling quickly following strong revenue growth and multiple flagship programme wins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">They\u2019re now looking to add a Senior RF Engineer to strengthen their core RF\/mmWave capability at the Sedgefield HQ. This Senior RF Engineer will take a leading role in designing, developing and validating high-performance RF\/mmWave circuits and subsystems, collaborating closely across engineering teams and playing a key part in delivering complex new products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Role overview \u2013 Senior RF Engineer<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">You\u2019ll be responsible for robust RF\/microwave design delivery, hands-on test work, technical problem-solving, and supporting the wider engineering roadmap across concept, prototype and production.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">&nbsp;Technical<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Lead the design, simulation and development of RF and mmWave circuits, components and subsystems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Perform RF system analysis, optimisation and troubleshooting on complex designs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Execute RF measurements, characterisation and validation across prototypes and production hardware<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Produce high-quality technical documentation including design reports, test plans and results<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ensure designs meet specification, standards and customer requirements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Contribute to product and technology roadmaps with innovative RF ideas<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Provide technical input into RFQs, proposals and customer discussions when required<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Project and product delivery<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work with project managers and engineering leads to deliver designs to quality, cost and schedule<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support the transition of concepts through prototyping into volume manufacturing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Collaborate with operations\/process engineering to ensure strong manufacturability and yield<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Assist in identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Collaboration &amp; Communication<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work closely with electronics, mechanical, software and systems engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and customers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Present technical updates and design reviews as required<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Scope may evolve as programmes and customer needs develop.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;line-height: 115%;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m supporting a key client based at their HQ in Sedgefield \u2014 a high-growth RF\/microwave technology business delivering advanced connectivity solutions into space, defence, telecoms and critical communications sectors.
