They are looking to add a Senior FPGA Engineer to their growing hardware team, developing the digital infrastructure that enables large-scale quantum control and measurement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This role offers the opportunity to work on highly complex FPGA-based systems where timing, synchronisation, and performance are critical. You&#8217;ll collaborate with FPGA Engineers, embedded software developers, hardware engineers, and physicists to develop solutions capable of controlling and communicating with large numbers of quantum devices simultaneously.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The position will involve FPGA architecture, RTL development, verification, and system integration. You&#8217;ll help shape technical decisions, contribute to architectural improvements, and work across the full development lifecycle to deliver reliable, high-performance hardware platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">They are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer with the following background:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">5+ years of FPGA design experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong RTL development skills using VHDL<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Verification and simulation experience using industry-standard tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Understanding of bus architectures such as AXI or Avalon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Scripting experience using Python, TCL, or Shell<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience working within Linux-based development environments<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with RFSoCs, DSP, SystemVerilog, UVM, timing closure, embedded Linux, or high-performance computing systems would be advantageous.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you&#8217;re interested in the position of Senior FPGA Engineer, please apply or contact Sam Cruse at IC Resources.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are supporting an innovative quantum computing company that is tackling one of the industry&#8217;s biggest engineering challenges: scaling quantum systems from laboratory environments to commercially viable platforms.
