This Engineering Director role will lead the transition from an R&amp;D-focused environment into a scalable product development and manufacturing organisation. The Engineering Director will provide technical leadership across hardware, test, process, and product engineering activities while helping shape the future direction of the business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across electronics, test and measurement, process development, and manufacturing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Drive the transition from prototype development to scalable product production<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Define engineering strategy, development roadmaps, and product release plans<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Establish DFM, DFT, quality, and manufacturing processes<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work closely with research teams to convert laboratory technology into commercial products<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Build and develop engineering teams as the company grows<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Provide technical leadership and executive-level input to company strategy<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience taking complex hardware technologies from development through to production<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong background in semiconductor, electronics, photonics, advanced materials, or high-technology hardware environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of manufacturing, industrialisation, DFM, DFT, and product qualification<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to operate both strategically and technically within a growing company<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Opportunity pathway to VP \/ CTO at the next funding round (Series A).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Location: Lund, Sweden<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Engineering Director, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Engineering Director required for an early-stage deep-tech company developing next-generation precision sensing technology based on advanced materials and semiconductor processes.
