As part of its continued European expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop new opportunities and strengthen its position within the industrial sector.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional with a strong technical background and experience working across sales, engineering, marketing and product teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>The opportunity<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Reporting to the European sales organisation, you will take ownership of business-development activity across the European industrial market. You will work closely with customers, regional sales teams, application engineers, distribution partners and internal product specialists to identify opportunities, understand market requirements and support sustainable revenue growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The role combines strategic market development with hands-on customer engagement. You will be expected to travel regularly across Europe, building relationships with key accounts and regional customers while developing a strong understanding of industrial applications and customer priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">You will develop and support strategies to grow the company\u2019s industrial business across Europe, working closely with sales and application engineering colleagues to improve customer engagement and opportunity development. This will include preparing market and product presentations, supporting customer meetings, helping field teams understand application requirements, and ensuring they have the information and tools needed to progress opportunities. You will collaborate with internal product and technical teams to communicate market feedback, prioritise customer requirements and influence future product and solution development. In addition, you will monitor industry trends and competitor activity, support product launches and marketing initiatives, contribute to trade shows, and help train distribution partners. Regular face-to-face interaction with customers will be central to the role, including discussions around product definition, technical roadmaps, application needs and long-term relationship development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>What you will bring<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">At least 10 years\u2019 experience in the electronics, semiconductor or related technology sector, ideally within technical sales, business development or product marketing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Good knowledge of the European industrial market and experience working with industrial customers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A strong technical understanding of electronic components, systems or related technologies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience in power-management, analog electronics or semiconductor products would be advantageous, but is not essential.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The ability to understand customer applications and translate technical requirements into commercial opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A proactive and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The flexibility to work effectively in a fast-moving and international environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you are an experienced business development or technical sales professional looking for a high-impact European role within the industrial technology sector, please apply to learn more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you&#8217;re interested in this, or other semiconductor sales opportunities across the DACH region, please contact Jack Bird at IC Resources.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our client is an international semiconductor company supplying innovative solutions to customers across several high-growth markets.
