The Power Electronics Engineer will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and manufacturing support. The Power Electronics Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative hardware solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Create schematics and support PCB design activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Perform simulation, testing and validation of hardware designs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support product development from concept through production<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Investigate and resolve technical issues during development<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work closely with embedded, mechanical and systems engineers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Contribute to design reviews and technical decision making<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support manufacturing and product improvement activities<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Degree in Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics or a related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience designing power electronic systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong understanding of analogue electronics and power conversion techniques<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with schematic capture and laboratory testing<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of DC-DC converters, power management or motor control systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong problem-solving and communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Desirable<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PLECS or MATLAB\/Simulink<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of embedded control systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with EMC, safety or regulatory compliance<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience supporting products through manufacturing and NPI<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Power Electronics Engineer, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Power Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development of advanced power conversion solutions for next-generation technology products.
