The work spans system design through to hardware integration, verification and in-orbit commissioning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The role<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">As a Senior RF Payload Engineer, you\u2019ll define payload architectures, analyse performance and specify transmitters, receivers, antennas and associated signal processing. Working with hardware specialists and external suppliers, you\u2019ll help turn requirements into working payloads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">You\u2019ll also develop design, test and calibration tools, support environmental testing and commissioning, and take responsibility for technical delivery, schedules and budgets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">What they\u2019re looking for<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Relevant RF experience, including systems engineering and requirements flow-down.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience across some of the following: link budgets, RF or digital design, signal processing, antenna design and payload verification.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Familiarity with MATLAB or Python for modelling.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">An engineering, maths or physics degree, with the confidence to own technical decisions and work across disciplines.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Space hardware manufacture and test experience would be useful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Why consider it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This Senior RF Payload Engineer position offers responsibility across the full payload lifecycle, with visibility of how your design performs in orbit.
