You\u2019ll collaborate closely with RF, FPGA and hardware engineers, contributing to products throughout the full development lifecycle, from prototype development through to volume manufacture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">For this Senior Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong experience developing low-level embedded software and firmware using Zephyr<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Excellent C\/C++ programming skills, including optimisation for resource-constrained systems<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with prototype board bring-up, hardware\/software integration and debugging<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with embedded communication interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I\u00b2C, UART and RS422<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong practical debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and software tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with embedded Linux, Yocto, bare-metal firmware or other RTOS platforms would be beneficial<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of secure communications, authentication, encryption or secure firmware updates would be advantageous<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>What next?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">For more information on this role, or any other jobs across Embedded Software, Firmware, Embedded Linux and C\/C++, please contact me, <strong>Callum Allen<\/strong>, today.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Join a leading&nbsp;communications technology company \u2013 Cambridge, Hybrid Working An innovative technology company is expanding its software engineering team in Cambridge, developing advanced RF and communications products for telecommunications, space and defence applications.
