PIC Layout Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced PIC Layout Engineer to join their team in Oxford, working on the design and preparation of photonic integrated circuit layouts and fabrication masks.

Key experience:

• PIC / photonic integrated circuit layout
• Strong experience with GDSFactory and KLayout
• GDSII generation, editing and verification
• Mask layout and mask-set preparation for semiconductor / photonic fabrication
• Understanding of design rules, layer stacks and fabrication constraints
• Python scripting and layout automation
• Experience working with foundries and fabrication processes is a plus
