Junior Account Manager

My client is a global manufacturer of electronic components and interconnect solutions, supporting customers across a range of technology-driven industries. They are looking to appoint a Junior Account Manager based in ZIP regions 0, 1 & 2, responsible for developing customer relationships and new commercial opportunities across Northern and Eastern Germany.

This is a strong opportunity for an early-career sales professional who wants to build a career in technical account management, with exposure to customers, distribution partners and a broad portfolio of electronic products.

The role

As a Junior Account Manager, you will:

• Develop new business while supporting and growing existing customer accounts
• Visit customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements
• Promote connectors, cable assemblies and interconnect solutions
• Work closely with product, engineering, customer service and distribution partners
• Manage your sales pipeline, opportunities and forecasts
• Monitor customer, market and competitor developments
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows and industry events

About you

The ideal Junior Account Manager will have up to three years‘ experience in sales, business development, engineering or another customer-facing commercial role.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to develop
• Confident communicating with customers and building relationships
• Interested in electronics and technical products
• Fluent in German and English
• Comfortable travelling regularly throughout Germany
• Based within a commutable location for the territory and holding a valid driving licence

The Junior Account Manager role offers the scope to develop within the electronic components industry, taking ownership of a territory while building valuable technical and commercial experience.
