Design Engineering Architect

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Digital Design Architect to join one of the world’s premier technology companies shipping billions of chips around the world. Hybrid working is available.

This role can be based out of any of our client’s offices in Cork, Dublin or Galway. As the Digital Design Architect, you will lead the development of complex IP such as UCIe, Ethernet, and PCIe. This role will have a three-way split: RTL development from micro-architecture definition to IP sign-off for general release, supervision of engineers in the team, as well as engagement with customers and management teams.

We are looking for someone with:

• Extensive and in-depth digital IC design expertise, with deep IP-level microarchitecture experience
• Expert skills in Verilog / SystemVerilog for RTL development
• A strong background within SoC architecture
• Solid technical leadership experience is also essential
• PCIe experience would be highly preferred, although any high-speed serial comms experience would also be of interest
