Graduate Electronics Engineer

This Graduate Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development, testing and measurement of advanced power electronic systems. The Graduate Electronics Engineer will support a range of projects involving power conversion technologies and laboratory-based testing. The Graduate Electronics Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers to develop practical engineering skills within a specialist environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the testing and evaluation of power electronic systems
• Assist with hardware development and prototype builds
• Perform laboratory measurements and analyse test data
• Support schematic capture and PCB development activities
• Assist with debugging and fault finding on electronic hardware
• Produce technical documentation and test reports
• Work closely with engineers across product development projects
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities

Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
• Understanding of analogue and digital electronics
• Interest in power electronics and hardware development
• Experience using laboratory equipment through university projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Keen to develop a hands-on engineering career

Desirable

• Knowledge of power conversion technologies
• Familiarity with PCB design tools
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink or LTspice
• Exposure to embedded systems or microcontrollers
