We are supporting a fast-growing quantum technology company developing the networking infrastructure that will enable the next generation of scalable quantum computing. They are looking to add a Junior FPGA Engineer to their Control Systems team, developing the real-time hardware that sits at the heart of advanced quantum networking platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career FPGA Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge technology alongside experienced hardware, software, and physics specialists. You’ll gain exposure to the full development lifecycle, from RTL design and verification through to hardware bring-up, system integration, and deployment on advanced quantum networking platforms.
The role will involve developing FPGA designs for Xilinx-based systems, supporting embedded software integration, creating verification environments, and contributing to debugging and automation workflows. You’ll work closely with senior engineers while developing the skills needed to design robust, real-time control systems.
They are looking for a Junior FPGA Engineer with the following background:
Experience with embedded C/Rust, Linux, real-time systems, or RF hardware would be advantageous but is not essential.
