Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Engineer | Product Development

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on challenging product development and engineering projects, taking ideas from early-stage concepts through to design, prototyping and testing.

You’ll combine strong first-principles engineering with hands-on design and analysis, while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Mechanical concept generation and detailed design
• 3D CAD using SolidWorks
• FEA / CFD and engineering analysis
• Prototyping, testing and design iteration
• First-principles calculations and problem solving
• Project scoping and technical proposal development
• Working directly with clients and technical stakeholders
• Taking ownership of technical workstreams and project delivery

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• 3+ years’ industry experience ideally within medical industry 
• Strong mechanical design and engineering fundamentals
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Experience with FEA, CFD or engineering simulation
• Experience taking designs from concept through to prototype and test
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
