Principal Laser Product Engineer

We are looking for an experienced III-V Laser Expert with strong industry and product-development experience to support the design, modelling, development, and optimisation of semiconductor laser products.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in III-V semiconductor lasers and laser physics
• Proven experience in laser design, modelling and simulation
• Hands-on experience developing commercial laser products from concept through to production
• Industry experience in semiconductor lasers, photonics, optoelectronics, or related technologies
• Knowledge of laser structures, fabrication processes, characterisation, and performance optimisation
• Experience with relevant laser modelling/design tools and data analysis
• Ability to translate technical requirements into practical, manufacturable laser designs
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• PhD or equivalent advanced experience in physics, photonics, semiconductor engineering, or a related field
