We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital SoC Architect to join our innovative team in Leuven, Belgium. As a key member of the CTO group, you will play a pivotal role in designing advanced mixed-signal SoC IC solutions tailored to meet our customers’ requirements. Collaborating closely with sales, delivery teams, and customers, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital IC systems that push the boundaries of technology.

Responsibilities

As a Digital SoC Architect, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing, interpreting, and discussing high-level digital IC requirements
  • Proactively proposing micro-architecture and hardware specifications to meet digital IC requirements
  • Evaluating the performance of IPs such as CPUs, GPUs, DSPs, memories, accelerators, and custom IPs, and determining how they can be integrated to meet customer needs
  • Modeling, analyzing, debugging, and addressing performance limitations while developing advanced solutions within chip area and power consumption constraints
  • Recommending IC technology choices to achieve performance objectives
  • Collaborating with analog IC system architects and software teams to deliver comprehensive mixed-system SoC solutions
  • Engaging directly with customers to propose technical solutions and provide expert guidance
  • Supporting the sales team with technical expertise to build robust digital architectural solutions
  • Assisting the delivery team by introducing new digital micro-architecture solutions and providing support for System Verilog implementation, RTL verification, design verification, physical design, and design-for-test/validation

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience as a digital IC Design and Digital System Architecture for advanced SoCs
  • Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog development
  • Expertise in CPU and DSP micro-architectures
  • Strong understanding of mixed-signal aspects of system architecture for advanced SoCs
  • Proficiency in using and understanding key EDA tools for IC development
  • Broad knowledge of IC technologies, manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes
