Metasurface Design Engineer

An innovative Edinburgh-based start-up developing next-generation metasurface technologies is seeking a Metasurface Design Engineer to join its growing team.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in the design and optimisation of metasurface devices for advanced optical applications.
• Strong expertise in FDTD electromagnetic simulation (e.g. Lumerical or equivalent).
• Understanding of micro/nanofabrication processes and process engineering, with the ability to translate designs into manufacturable devices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams spanning design, fabrication, and characterisation.
