I am recruiting for a Senior Analog RF IC Characterisation Engineer to join my client’s engineering team in Athens, Greece. The role focuses on RF and Analog IC analysis, silicon characterisation and debugging, working across both pre-silicon and post-silicon development.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and characterise RF and Analog blocks from simulation through to silicon
- Support chip bring up, laboratory testing and silicon debugging
- Investigate RF and Analog performance issues and identify root causes
- Define test methods, performance parameters and evaluation strategies
- Work with design engineers to identify issues and implement improvements
- Support DFT requirements and RF/Analog driver definition
- Analyse characterisation data and establish key datasheet parameters
- Develop automation for testing, debugging and data analysis
- Document technical findings and communicate results across engineering teams
Requirements
- 3+ years of RF or Analog IC, system design or semiconductor experience
- Strong understanding of RF and Analog architectures and circuit building blocks
- Experience with silicon characterisation, validation or chip bring up
- Hands on experience with RF measurement equipment and laboratory testing
- Experience debugging complex IC performance issues
- Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso
- Experience with Python, LabVIEW or similar tools for automation and data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related subject
