I’m working with an innovative technology company developing cutting-edge products, and they’re looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology, supporting products from initial prototype builds through to full production. You’ll play a key role in manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing, while helping to improve processes, product quality and production

efficiency.

What you’ll be doing

• Building, assembling and testing complex mechanical, electrical and optical systems.
• Supporting the transition of new products from prototype development into production.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across manufacturing, assembly and testing.
• Developing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions and production documentation.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, efficiency and product quality.
• Supporting 3D printing, component management and inventory control.
• Working closely with suppliers and external manufacturing partners to ensure smooth production operations.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment, ideally working with mechanical, electrical or optical systems.
• Hands-on experience in hardware assembly, integration and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Experience working with complex technical products or precision-engineered hardware.
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and a willingness to get hands-on.
• A genuine interest in solving technical challenges and improving manufacturing processes.
• Experience taking products from prototype through to production would be a distinct advantage.
