Senior RF IC Design Engineer

I am recruiting for an RFIC Design Engineer position with my client, an established and growing player in the mmWave space. They design and supply advanced RFIC technology for next generation wireless communications, including 5G networks.

As an RFIC Design Engineer, your role will involve:

• Subsystem level design of LNAs, PAs, mixers, PLLs, LO generators, ADCs, DACs, filters and other analog and mixed signal blocks
• Full design flow ownership from schematic to layout and verification
• Using industry standard tools such as Cadence, Keysight, ANSYS and Mentor Graphics
• CMOS or BiCMOS design for mmWave applications
• Supporting product bring-up, validation and integration into antenna modules
• Contributing to production test and volume delivery

To be considered for the RFIC Design Engineer role, you should have:

• 5 years + experience in RFIC or analog IC design from industry
• Background in deep submicron CMOS and/or BiCMOS processes
• Knowledge of wireless communication standards such as Wi-Fi, WiGig or 3GPP
• Familiarity with the design of RF transceiver architectures
• Understanding of analog fundamentals such as OPAMPs, LDOs, oscillators

Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship and require some on-site work each week. You can be based in either Gothenburg or Kista, working from well-equipped labs alongside a team of RFIC designers.
